Rabiya Makhani

rabiya edited“I worked for the academics department at The Justuju School. Our tasks were diverse; from coming up with innovative teaching techniques by incorporating videos, indoor ECA and story-telling ideas, to taking remedial classes, raising funds at Teen Talwar, conducting Zakat surveys, planning and executing books and stationary drives.
The biggest challenge we faced was load-shedding, especially since a major chunk of our work involved the usage of laptops and internet. But during our internship we learned tips and tricks to make sure the generator does not go off such as switching off the exhaust, excess fans and lights and unplugging our chargers. After all, problems are everywhere. You just have to find your way around them.”
